A plan is a service agreement. It is not insurance and not a roof warranty. Steaming is billed by the hour on a written ticket; a plan moves you up the call list, it does not pay for the work. Billed once a year. To cancel, call or write before your renewal date and you are not charged again.

Steaming
How steaming is billed
A plan is not a prepaid steaming account. Here is what it is and isn't.
By the hour, on a ticket
The rate is on the written ticket. You hear it and the crew's minimum before anyone sets up.
After hours costs more
Evenings and Sundays are billed at the after-hours rate, which we tell you before we go.
What the plan changes
Where you are on the list. The work is billed the same way it would be for anyone.
What the plan doesn't change
Whether water gets in. It isn't a warranty, and it doesn't pay for interior repairs.
Questions
Plan questions
Is the plan insurance?
No. It's a service agreement for inspections, cleaning and priority on the call list. It doesn't pay for repairs, steaming or damage inside the house.
What if no ice dam forms this winter?
Then you've had the fall check and the clear eaves, and the plan has done its job. There's no steaming charge if there's no steaming.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Call or write before your renewal date and you aren't charged again.
Do I need a plan to get steaming?
No. Call anytime in season. Plan members are called back first.
Does the plan extend my roof warranty?
No. Warranties come from the shingle or panel maker and from us as the installer, in writing, with their own terms.
Want a fall check on the calendar?
Tell us the house and we'll send the plan's terms in writing.
